Koreans can now fly regularly to Las Vegas. Korean Air will provide three non-stop flights a week from Seoul Incheon to McCarran International Airport.

This decision follows Japan Airlines' announced its plan to discontinue its three weekly nonstop flights to McCarran Airport in Las Vegas from Narita International Airport in Tokyo.

In 2005, 112,000 South Koreans visited Las Vegas, which makes South Korea the 5th among the countries that contribute most tourism to the entertainment of the world.

The quantity of visitors from South Korea jumped 64.7 percent compared 68,000 visitors in 2004.

Korean Air does not restrict itself to Las Vegas and hope to use McCarran as a hub from which it will be possible to have connection flights to regional inland cities such as Phoenix, Denver and Salt Lake City.
