The Ultimate Blackjack Tour will air on CBS starting next week. The most popular casino game of all is anticipated to be a big hit, much like televised poker tournaments.
The Ultimate Blackjack Tour makes its initial debut next Saturday on CBS, pitting top players from both the blackjack and poker worlds in "Elimination Blackjack" tournaments.
The Elimination style tournament is similar to poker in that players are taken away from the tables until a winner is determined in a final table, head to head. Secret bets can add an element of bluffing, and also like the poker televised tournaments, the audience at home can see the dealer's hole cards.
ESPN was the original bidder for the show, however due to unknown reasons decided to drop out of the bidding race. This allowed CBS to grab the spot instead.
