GameTech wins Nevada manufacturer's and distributor's license

RENO, Nevada – (PRESS RELEASE) - GameTech International, Inc. (Nasdaq: GMTC), a leading designer, developer and marketer of electronic bingo equipment and bingo systems, today announced it received recommendations for approval from the State Gaming Control Board for Manufacturer's and Distributor's Licenses. The Company was also successful in obtaining recommendations for approval as an Operator of Interlinked Systems and as an Operator of a Mobile Gaming System in the State of Nevada.

The Gaming Control Board's recommendations will be forwarded to the Nevada Gaming Commission which will take final action on the Company's applications on October 19th. Upon the Commission's approval of the GameTech's applications, the Company would be positioned to expand into additional types of gaming in Nevada.

GameTech is the latest company to come before regulators seeking to provide wireless gambling for games that can be used in public areas of the state's casino resorts. Regulations authorizing the use of such the devices were adopted by the Nevada Gaming Commission earlier this year.
