Gambling software maker Playtech said on Monday it had agreed to aquire part of its business rival, Tribeca Tables Europe, for between $75 million and $139 million, depending on the revenues generated from the acquisition in the coming year.

Several websites operate on Tribeca Tables Europe's software platform; among them are PaddyPower Poker, VCPoker and Blue Square Poker.

Playtech said it that the synergy between the two companies will lead to major savings and the company expects higher revenues to be produced by the increased player liquidity and by the introduction of Playtech's casino games to licensees that migrated from Tribeca.

Playtech shares closed at 204.5 pence today, valuing the group at around 436.27 million pounds.
