Michael Jackson is returning to the United States after a self-imposed exile. The pop star landed in Las Vegas over the weekend with hopes of revitalizing his music career.

Jackson arrived in Las Vegas on Saturday night, along with his children: nine-year-old Prince Michael I, four-year-old Prince Michael II and eight-years-old daughter Paris, where he was spotted shopping at stores in Caesars Palace.

The 48-years-old former king of pop stayed out of the United States since June 2005, after he was acquitted of child molestation charges and went to live in various places around the world, such as Ireland and Bahrain and other countries.

According to various reports, Jackson is planning on landing a long-term deal with a casino to perform in showrooms, much like other superstars such as Celine Dion.

Jack Wishna, a Las Vegas businessman, said that they are working on some projects but did not reveal from where in the Las Vegas strip he plans to restart his career.
