Las Vegas Sands is looking into the online marketing and is about to offer its own online casino.

Sands, one of the biggest casino operators in the world, has announced today that it had reached an agreement with Cantor Gaming, an affiliate of the global financial services company Cantor Fitzgerald, to launch an online casino and poker website, which will be mainly targeting the UK.

Cantor Gaming has developed an Internet casino and poker platform featuring Las Vegas Sands brands, including The Venetian, Sands and Palazzo. The site is expected to be online during the second quarter of 2007.

This is the second cooperation between the two organizations. In May, Las Vegas Sands announced The Venetian's plans to become the first Nevada casino to provide mobile gaming based on Cantor technology.

The new online casino will not accept U.S. customers even though Las Vegas Sands in an American company. The recent U.S. legislation that virtually banned online gambling for U.S. residents has caused most online casinos to focus on gamblers from Europe, Canada and the rest of the world.
