Three people, including a pregnant woman, were shot on Monday in a casino shooting at the Skyway Park Bowl and Casino in Skyway, south of Seattle, Washington.
Two women, one of them pregnant, and another man were seriously wounded when a 39-year-old woman began shooting in the casino, which was crowded with hundreds of people who were celebrating the New Year.
The women, both 27, suffered gunshot wounds to their torsos. The pregnant woman was shot in the chest and the abdomen. The 28-year-old man was shot in the leg. Police was called to the scene and they arrested the gun-holding woman with no further incidents.
Firefighters also treated several other people for hyperventilation. Some of the people said they had been trampled by people who fled from the casino.
The manager of the casino said somebody called the police when a fight started between two groups of people. But before the authorities arrived he saw a woman fire two shots at another woman who lay on the floor.
