NBA star Tony Parker and Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria have announced their engagement and are scheduling their upcoming wedding for none other than 07-07-07 – July 7 2007.
Apparently, the 24-year-old San Antonio Spurs guard is extremely superstitious and thinks that 07-07-07 is the luckiest day to get married on. The wedding will take place in France, Parker's native country, at Chateau de Vaux le Viconte, a fairy-tale-like castle south of Paris.
The wedding news was revealed almost by mistake. Actor-singer Jamie Foxx, a close friend, recently appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show and said “I know her boyfriend and soon-to-be husband.”
The couple plan to invite 31-year-old Longoria's co-stars from her hit TV series, as well as the San Antonio Spurs star's teammates.
