On Saturday March 31, dealers at Trump Plaza voted in favor of the UAW representing them as a bargaining agent.
This vote represents the second in a two week period in favor of union representation by employees at an Atlantic City casino.
The vote was 324 to 149.
As with the dealers at Caesars, complaints lodged by the Trump Plaza dealers include low pay, reduced health benefits, no seniority and job security.
The UAW's next goal is the dealers at Trump Marina. The dealers at the Hilton are organizing and efforts are proceeding at other Atlantic City casinos.
This drive was highlighted by U.S. Representative Robert Andrews, who is organizing a union rally days before the election to count union cards.
