888.com, one of the biggest online casinos in the world, on Thursday, May 17, announced its event sponsorship of the largest headsup poker tournament in the World: the World Headsup Poker Championship 2007.
The 888.com World Headsup Poker Championship 2007 will take place in Casino Barcelona, Spain between May 21 and May 29. The tournament is now in its seventh year and has been held in Casino Barcelona since 2004.
The 888.com World Headsup Poker Championship features 128 players going one-against-one in face to face, single elimination matches of no-limit Texas Hold’em. The main event's winner will get €125,000 of a €320,000 total prize pot, while the final 16 players all receive a share of the overall prize pool.
