The 2007 World Series of Poker is full of surprises. The current chip leader is a 21-year-old Norwegian that survived where many pros have failed.
Many professional players have already busted out of the 2007 WSOP, including Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth Jr. and recently Gus Hansen also departed from the match.
Sixty players remained in the $10,000 buy-in WSOP Main Event, the biggest poker event in the world, and the chip leader is Dag Martin Mikkelsen, who turned 21, the legal age of gambling in Nevada, only 3 weeks ago.
Mikkelsen had an amazing win over one of his opponents when he called all-in with his ace and king of diamonds against pocket eights. The Flop came out a jack of hearts and a jack and 10 of diamonds. The Turn came out six of diamonds, which gave Mikkelsen a flush while his opponent hoped for an eight or a jack on the River.
The game ended when the River came out a queen of diamonds, giving Mikkelsen the best possible hand in poker – a Royal flush, which made the audience gasp.
