Five Months after voting in representation by the UAW, bargaining has begun between the dealers and management at Caesars Atlantic City.
Concerns for the dealers have been health benefits and wages. Additionally, Harrah’s Corporation, which controls Caesars has been taken over by two private equity firms causing issues to be raised as to their plans.
A table for bargaining was set up in the convention center. Prior to the beginning of bargaining dealers bearing signs marched on the Atlantic City boardwalk.
Dealers at three casinos have voted for union representation and two have voted against.
Eighty two percent of the dealers voted for union representation at Caesars.
