Much of poker's recent popularity has been fuelled by television coverage of the pros in action. TV Shows like Poker Superstars and extended footage of the World Series of Poker has improved the profile of the game, bringing in many new players and ushering us towards a new era for the game.
One of most memorable of these was the Poker Den (where players used huge wads of money instead of the usual chips) and in particular the big game.
