WSOPE Won by 19-Year-Old Annette Obrestad

The surprising winner of the Main Event of the WSOPE (World Series of Poker Europe) on Tuesday night is a 19 year old woman from Norway, the youngest WSOP bracelet winner ever.

Annette Obrestad beat seasoned players on her way to the top, the bracelet and the £1,000,000 ($2,013,102). Obrestad, known online as "Annette_15", has won more than $800,000 in online poker tournaments and FTSOP and WCOOP titles too.

Obrestad, unbelievably, has also broken two other records set by Annie Duke. The first is for the woman who has won the most money in WSOP events (Obrestad won double the amount Duke has won) and the second is the largest poke tournament won by a woman, which was previously Duke's $2 million win in Tournament of Champions in 2004.

Obrestad's win has been appearing in newspapers and televisions channels outside the poker world, like CNN.com and Bloomberg.com and is quickly turning into one of the biggest poker events of the year.
