Pamela Anderson and her husband Rick Salomon are heading to Melbourne to play in the Aussie Millions Poker Championship.
The couple could be arriving in Melbourne as early as Friday, and Salomon is definitely going to be taking part in the tournament, with an appearance fee being negotiated for Anderson to come out for a while.
The tournament's main event is scheduled to start on Monday, and will include a lot of big names, such as Jennifer Tilly, Shannon Elizabeth, and Joe Hachem. The tournament is a $10,000 buy-in, and the stars will be shooting for the AUD $10 million prize.
Anderson and Salomon were brought together by poker. They had been friends for 17 years, when they took their friendship to a new level after a poker game. "I left the table and my driver played in my place", said Anderson. When she returned she found she was $280,000 in the hole to Rick. He offered to wipe the debt if she gave him a kiss. From there, they ended up getting married in October.
Anderson filed for divorce shortly afterwards, but has since changed her mind and posted a message on her website saying "We are trying to work things out".
