Lynn Aguglia, a resident of Crafton, Pennsylvania, has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of 'conspiracy to operate an illegal gambling business'.
She made the plea before Arthur Schwab, a U.S. District Judge, on December 21st 2007.
Aguglia, aged 49, lives on Lincoln Avenue. She admitted to participating in a sports betting gambling business which was ran by a man called John Conley.
Crafton resident Lynn Aguglia pleaded guilty to a federal charge of conspiracy to operate an illegal gambling business on Dec. 21.
In connection with the guilty plea, Aguglia admitted to participation in a sports betting gambling business run by John Conley. Anguglia acted as a liaison, receiving proceeds from the gambling business via another co-conspirator. Anguglia would then pass those proceeds on to Mr Conley.
Evidence presented included recordings obtained by a wire tap established by the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, which captured several telephone calls between Conley and Anguglia, where they discussed the receipt of the illegal gambling funds.
