Prime time TV show host Montel Williams will host a poker gala in aid of Multiple Sclerosis charities tomorrow. The event will be streamed online so that people can virtually attend via their PC.

The gala will be themed around a roaring twenties speakeasy, with poker pros and celebrities competing using play money in order to win prizes. The gala will also feature poker lessons, live music, and other entertainment.

Poker stars including Annie Duke, Jamie Gold, Susie Isaacs, and Russ Hamilton will be taking part in the gala, which will be streamed as a pay-per-view event so that viewers can experience the fun first-hand. The event will cost $9.95 to view, and streaming will begin half an hour before the start of the festivities – at 7:00PM Eastern Time.

All of the proceeds from the gala will go towards finding a cure for MS. Montel Williams has been hosting TV shows for 17 years, and went public about his personal battle against MS in 1999. He founded the Montel Williams MS foundation which focuses on research into treatments and cures for this degenerative illness, which affects the brain and spinal cord, and can result in damage to all systems in the body.

The foundation redirects 100% of all contributions from individuals directly to research institutions working on research into the disease.
