Patrik Antonius, a 27 year old Finish poker player, is an upcoming name on the poker circuit, and a promising young player in both the cash game and tournament poker circuits.
Last week, Antonius signed with the poker agency Poker Royalty, who will provide him with management and marketing representation, and help with media relations, commercial endorsements, and sponsorship deals.
So far Antonius has enjoyed 10 World Series of Poker money finishes, six World Poker Tour money finishes, and much success in the European Poker Tour – with a final table finish, and a win to his name, making his winnings total more than $2.6 million over the past few years.
Chris Porter, the Poker Royalty director of sales and marketing, said that “Patrik is one of those rare combinations of natural abilities, looks, and raw talent that can transcent the game of poker. Add Poker Royalty's resources and core business relationships and Patrik will be an even brighter star on the tour and off”.
Look forward to seeing a lot more of Patrik from now on – the Poker Royalty roster includes many big names, such as T.J. Clouter, Gus Hansen, and Phil Hellmuth. Will Patrik achieve the same levels of success as them? Only time will tell.
