Glen Chorny, the 22 year old poker player from Ontario, Canada, has won the European Poker Tour, besting 841 other players to win the $3.2 million prize.
Denes Kalo, from Hungary took the second place prize of $1.9 million, after being eliminated in the first hand of heads up play.
Maxime Villemure, another Canadian, fought through a fever and stomach illness to manage a third place finish.
At the start of the day Stig Rasmussen and Henrik Gwinner were eliminated from the running. The remaining eight players made the official televised final table. The players are listed below, in seat order, along with their chip counts.

Esfandiari, who had been performing well up until day three, struggled early on and was eliminated in eighth place, taking home $266,004. Ilikyan was the seventh place finisher, with his strong Ace and Queen of Spades losing to Michael Martin's Ace and King of Diamonds.
Pagano was next to be eliminated, but took home his largest EPT prize to date in the process. Michael Martin was the next one to go home, being eliminated by Glen Chorny.
Chorny had started the day as the chip leader, and played well throughout the day, eliminating the fourth place player Isaac Baron in a big hand, which placed him in a strong position for later on in the tournament.
Chorny eliminated Villemure with a slow played straight, leaving Villemure with a lower straight on the river. Going in to the final two, Chorny had a 10 to 1 chip advantage. Heads-up play only lasted two hands. Kalo played his King of Hearts and Queen of Diamonds against Chorny's Ace of Hearts and Five of Hearts. The board revealed Ace, Queen and Six of Spades, and Six and 10 of Diamonds, sending Kalo home in second place.
