The World Series of Poker Academy has announced a new camp where players will be able to learn advanced No Limit Hold'em strategies. The Advanced No Limit Hold'em Academy will be a two-day long poker camp covering advanced strategies, including strong cash game strategies, advanced tournament stage tips, heads-up strategies, and the advanced mathematics of poker. A place at the academy costs $1,999.
Instructors at the Advanced No Limit Hold'em Academy include poker pros such as Howard Lederer, Annie Duke, Phil Gordon, Paul Wasicka, Alex Outhred, and Andy Bloch. There will also be seminars by poker experts such as Joe Navarro – a retired FBI agent, and expert on non-verbal communications. Navarro will be giving tips on how to decode common poker tells.
The course will be concluded with a poker tournament, with two seats in the World Series of Poker 2008 No Limit Hold'em World Championship being up for grabs. We’re thrilled to be giving away two seats to the 2008 WSOP Main Event,” said Jeff Goldenberg, of Poast Oak Productions “Last summer we had one of our participants, Sally Ann Boyer, go from Academy grad one day to world champion the next. That’s the kind of confidence and skills students take away from our Academy, and we expect our seat winners to compete at the absolute highest level at this year’s WSOP.”
