The Gala Casino British Poker Tour will be coming to Bristol next month. The festival will be held at the Gala Harbourside Casino.
The Gala Casino British Poker Tour opened with an event in Edinburgh earlier this year, before heading to Nottingham for a successful and popular event with a prize pool of more than £160,000. The Bristol event promises to be even bigger and better.
The Main Event will be a £500 + £50 NLHE freeze-out, with entries being taken throughout the two day start period, with tournaments running on the 20th and 21st June. The remaining entrants will then take part in the main event with up to 220 people being in the running for the grand prize.
Robin Blair, the Gala Casino Tournament Director, said “Throughout the tour so far we've managed to maintain a really good balance between the amateur and the professional, making it accessible yet credible. The high turnout at Nottingham is a testament to how successful this approach has been”.
Entry to the Bristol main event is available via buy-in through Gala Casinos around the country, and there are satellite tournaments running at Gala Casinos too. More than 75 seats will be available to live satellite tournament winners, with the satellite tournament buy-ins ranging from £10 to £20, depending on the casino.
