Casino fans across the US and those travelling to the country are set to have more gambling venues to choose from as Harrah's reveals its imminent plans.
A number of the casinos owned by Harrah's will be reopened in the coming months, as renovations and re-branding at locations across the US are completed.Casino operator Harrah's has said it is looking forward to opening various new properties in the next few months.
While revealing that the firm achieved "strong results" from its new tower in Atlantic City, a company statement indicated that there is much the casino-going public can look forward to in 2008.
Gary Loveman, chairman, chief executive officer and president of the casino group, said Harrah's Atlantic City will continue opening new phases throughout the summer, while new-look properties in Mississippi and Indiana will also appear.
A $485 million expansion at Horseshoe Hammond is expected to be revealed in the third quarter of this year, while major work being undertaken on the famous Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is due to be competed next year, he added.
Earlier this year, Information Week named Harrah's Entertainment's chief information officer Tim Stanley as its Chief of the Year, highlighting the high esteem in which the company is held.
