'More Online Gambling Opportunities Exist'

A steady growth in online gambling has been identified as the medium apparently becomes more socially acceptable.

There have been a "staggering" amount of online gambling sites flooding the world wide web in recent times, according to internet advertising organisation Rupiz Ads.

Around 3,500 sites, such as PacificPoker.com, 888casino.com, casino-on-net.com, online-casino.com, exist online – which is reportedly an increase of 1,000 over the last two years.

Vivek Singh, co-founder and vice president of Rupiz Infotech, claimed that there is still more to come from the online gambling community.

In a company statement, Rupiz Ads stated: "Virtually-mediated casino games, slot machines, bingos, lotteries, sports wagering, horse race betting and skill games are all now readily accessible on the world web."

New forms of gambling and additional portals are being added each day, it continued.

Earlier this month, business director at the Remote Gambling Association Ben Wright said internet gambling would continue to be popular due to its "comfort factor".
