Some of the top names from the poker tournament world will be present in Catalonia over the next few days as the World Poker Tour (WPT) comes to Barcelona.
Big name poker tournament players, such as Juha Helppi and Antonio 'the Magician' Esfandiari, will be among the faces seen in Barcelona this week as the WPT heads to the Spanish city.Various poker games will be played during the seven days, culminating in a main event starting on May 23rd.
The competition will not be shown live on television so those interested in the outcome will either have to head to Barcelona or follow the progress by viewing online gambling websites.
Esfandiari said: "Since the moment I left Barcelona two years ago, I have waited for the opportunity to return."
"It is such a beautiful city with incredible history - you couldn't ask for a better backdrop for an international WPT tournament."
