Sports Betting News: England Unchanged For Second Test

Monty - confident ahead of second Test

England and New Zealand go head to head in the second Test at Old Trafford tomorrow, with sports betting fans safe in the knowledge that it is only New Zealand who have new injury concerns.

New Zealand's teenage paceman Tim Southee is struggling with a stomach virus ahead of his team's second Test against England at Old Trafford on Friday, which may influence the decisions of sports betting fans looking to place money on the event.

Southee did not take a wicket in the first Test at Lord's last week and only hit one run during the first innings before being bowled by Ryan Sidebottom.

Meanwhile, Monty Panesar's style is apparently very suited to the Manchester wicket, which may be one of the factors giving the home side the edge this weekend.

Panesar, whose figures were 1-86 at Lord's, said: "This is one of my favourite grounds. The wicket has pace and bounce and my style of spin suits it."

England have not lost at Old Trafford since 2001 – a record that could tempt gamblers to put their money on a victory for Michael Vaughan's side, who are at 4/6 with 888.Sport.com.

Trent Bridge in Nottingham hosts the third Test between these two teams on June 5th.
