There are a number of reasons why the new electronic poker machines in Atlantic City are good, according to a casino-going couple.

The accuracy of the new electronic poker machines at the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City has been commended.

A poker enthusiast, who was spotted using the new gambling facility at the resort, told the Press of Atlantic City that having no dealer has not affected her enjoyment of the card game.

Guest Rachel Stalcoskie told the publication: "I like it. It's faster than the live game and there really are no mistakes made here by the dealer."

She had been playing the new poker machines with her boyfriend Mark Zahra, who felt the best thing about them was the fact that there was no dealer to tip.

As well as the poker at Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, guests can play blackjack and roulette. Some of the progressive slots at the venue can pay out jackpots of more than $1 million (£500,000).
