Another celebrity has revealed their enjoyment for gambling - but this time its blackjack, not poker.

Hip hop star and Glastonbury headliner Jay-Z has admitted that he likes to play blackjack when he is in London.

The rapper told Time Out magazine that there are a number of gambling venues in the English capital where he gets involved in a game of 21.

Jay-Z's enjoyment for blackjack comes after a variety of celebrities - including actor Michael Greco, cricketer Shane Warne and footballer Teddy Sheringham - have recently revealed their love for poker.

Talking to Time Out, the American said: "I'm a pretty big, almost professional, gambler."

But not wanting to reveal where he plays, he added: "I'm not [going to] say any names because that'll mess it all up, but there're these little private clubs you can go to in the West End."

Jay-Z performed on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury on Saturday night amid much controversy as the festival is traditionally seen as a venue for rock and dance acts.

Has the poker craze ended?

I think this Jay-Z story is the harbinger of many stories to come, perhaps indicating the end of the poker craze.
It certainly would reflect what's going on at the casinos. The last time I played poker at Foxwoods there were many empty tables and you could get a seat just about anywhere - a stark contrast to the way it was a year ago.
Blackjack is and always has been the most winnable game in the house and I am glad the press is beginning to pick up on this fact, and the game's popularity - even if they are just beginning to realize this, through the pronouncements of the famous.
