MGM Grand has property in Las Vegas too

Grant Bowie will be the new president of the MGM Grand Paradise casino in the Chinese administrative region of Macau.

Grant Bowie will begin his tenure as MGM Grand Paradise president from August 1st, the casino giant has announced.

He will be responsible for the overall management of the Macau-based property and will be given the task of helping the company grow its presence in the Asian region.

Commenting on his new role, Mr Bowie said: "I am looking forward to joining the MGM Grand Macau team to build on the success from the opening of the property and bring to life the expansion plans of the board."

He also claimed that he was particularly happy to be contributing to Macau's thriving gaming industry.

Casino Review magazine editor Phil Martin recently stated that even though Macau has overtaken the Las Vegas Strip in terms of gaming revenue, it still mainly attracts Chinese visitors, rather than foreign tourists.
