WSOP offers big prizes

Online poker player tells Bluff Magazine what he would do with any winnings from the World Series of Poker (WSOP).

Russell Carson, who has won over $250,000 (£125,000) playing online poker, says he would invest most of an $8 million windfall if he were to win a WSOP main event.

In an interview with Bluff Magazine, the man dubbed by the publication as a "huge name in the poker world" said he would be sensible with any cash he won but would also treat himself to a "few toys" in the process.

He also claims to be looking forward to the "awesome experience" of playing in a main event at this year's WSOP.

"Between now and [last year], I think I'm in a much better position to play a bunch of tournaments and not have any worries," he said. "I'm looking forward to a big grind session in Vegas this summer."

Carson will be hoping his luck changes in Vegas, as his appearances in recent tournaments have ended in defeat, according to the magazine.

I think this time Russel Carson would win the World series of Poker. As he has the experience and he even has won many poker tournaments. I think continuously playing poker and winning the game would build in confidence in the players.
