Female poker celebrity is in with a chance of winning her first World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet after getting through the first day's play in Las Vegas.
Poker celebrity Shannon Elizabeth made it through to the last 144 players at the WSOP's event 22.Having bluffed her way through day one, American Pie actress Elizabeth has a number of top poker players to beat if she is to win her first ever bracelet at the glamorous gambling event.
The competition she is playing in is a $3,000 (£1,500) HORSE tournament that has accumulated a prize fund of more than $1 million.
If she is to finish victorious, she will need to beat some of the biggest names in the game, including Annie Duke, Phil Ivey and Jennifer Harman. However, she has already outlasted the well-known pair of Chris Ferguson and Canadian Daniel Negreanu.
Elizabeth is one of a host of celebrities at this year's WSOP. Former tennis player Yevgeny Kafelnikov has also been spotted at some of the tables during the course of the week.
