Cheryl Hines keeps opponents at the poker table off balance by talking all of the time - if she has a good hand or not.The Curb Your Enthusiasm star uses the tactic of constant nattering to help her gain an edge in card games, reports Parade magazine.
A regular player on the celebrity poker circuit, Ms Hines recently took part in woman-only card game at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. She entered the competition with other famous female players, but busted out early on.
In an interview with the publication, the actress highlighted a $50,000 (£25,000) poker win in Costa Rica as one of her most notable performances.
And revealing the effect her regular chat has on others, she said: "They really stare daggers at me like [they are thinking] 'Would you just shut up and play cards?'"
