Guests has the choice of roulette, blackjack, poker or dancing at a recent event at the Westerwood Hotel in central Scotland.
Roulette was an option for guests at the Westerwood Hotel in Scotland recently, as the venue marked the completion of some major refurbishments. Some £14 million worth of work has been undertaken at the Cumbernauld accommodation - and to mark the hotel's reopening guests and officials indulged in a casino night, Las Vegas-style.
Blackjack tables and Texas hold'em facilities were also set up to entertain visitors, Business 7 reports.
Marcello Vanities, the new general manager at the property, told the news provider: "It was a fabulous night and a perfect way to celebrate the re-launch of the new-look Westerwood following our £14 million redevelopment."
Live music, dancing and an Elvis Presley impersonator were some of the other events organised, which perhaps appealed to those who did not want to get involved in the gambling.
Redevelopment work at the resort included new rooms and eating facilities, while there are also plans to increase the size of the Seve Ballesteros-designed golf course over the next few months.
Internet advisory service etravelguide.info has called the Westerwood one of central Scotland's best luxury hotels.
