A retired woman from Las Vegas has won big on the slots in her hometown's Rampart Casino.The 66-year-old gamer's luck was in when she hit a million-dollar jackpot on the venue's Millioni$er penny slot.
Her total prize was $1.4 million (£700,000), which apparently prompted her to break down and weep with tears of joy.
Rampart Casino slot director Donovan York said: "It's incredible that Millioni$er hit on our floor, and we are especially excited one of our loyal locals won over $1 million on Millioni$er."
He added that the casino staff were "thrilled" to see the slot machine pay out such a huge sum.
As for the lucky lady, she plans to spend the money on a new house, as well as treat her family and pay off some outstanding bills.
Rampart Casino has over 1,200 slots and 26 table games, according to the resort's official website.
