New Mobile Poker Game

Real Dice's Multiplayer Championship Poker can now be bought at iTunes stores.

Poker enthusiasts now have another game to keep them entertained following the launch of Multiplayer Championship Poker on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Released by gaming firm Real Dice, the game can be played against friends using Blackberries or those who are logged into social networking website Facebook. It is available at iTunes stores now.

Those who tune in to Multiplayer Championship Poker on their iPhone can apparently test their card-playing skills against gamers they have never even met before.

Russ McMahon, director of mobile development at Real Dice, said in a statement last week: "You can log in with your iPhone while you're sitting at the airport and play with your Blackberry-loving best friend."

Over the last few years there have been a number of poker games made available for computers and mobile phones. The game's popularity is also represented via a series of television shows such as Late Night Poker and Poker After Dark.
