Doyle Brunson is one of the poker professionals to take on the up-and-coming stars from the world of internet poker.
Television series Poker After Dark set up a card game between some of the best players from online poker and a selection of the top professionals around.Doyle Brunson, Huck Seed and Johnny Chan were the three big names to appear on the show.
They battled with Andrew Rohl, Tom Dwann and Brian Townsend, who have all made their names playing poker online.
According to Card Player the former two internet gamers may be better known by their web pseudonyms - "good2cu" and "Durrr" respectively.
The six card players were scheduled to play in a winner-takes-all $20,000 (£10,000) buy-in event tournament last night.
Other poker shows currently occupying television screens include Celebrity Poker Showdown and Late Night Poker.
