It was third time lucky for young bingo player Emma Johnston, who won a six-figure sum at the numbers game over the weekend.
A young woman from north Glasgow has proved that people can play bingo and win big, after walking away from a local numbers game club with over £313,000.Emma Johnston's windfall came after she got her eyes down at the Mecca Forge Club in her home city's Duke Street.
Reporting the news, the National Bingo website revealed that Ms Johnston picked up the £303,904 platinum jackpot, as well as a selection of regional and national daily prizes, in what was only her third visit to a bingo hall.
Ms Johnston told the portal: "It was my gran, who is a very keen bingo player, who started me off playing a couple of months ago. The first time I went I won £220."
The money will be spent on a holiday and a new flat, as well as shared out with grandma, the lucky lady added.
According to the same news source, the Mecca Bingo Club in Glasgow Quay was the venue for two five-figure bingo wins in the space of two weeks.
