Cricket legend Shane Warne made it through to day two of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event in Las Vegas.
Shane Warne, the Australian cricket legend, made it through to day two of the WSOP main event in Las Vegas at the weekend and has claimed to be enjoying the experience of poker's most glamorous tournament.Commenting to the Australian Sunday Telegraph, the record-breaking spin bowler said that his anxiety soon turned to excitement as the card game got underway at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.
Warne told the publication: "I'm really enjoying it - the atmosphere is unreal. I've been running on adrenalin."
There have been a number of celebrities involved in this year's main event, including American Ryder Cup captain Paul Azinger and UFC fighter Forrest Griffin.
In the past, the competition has attracted celebrities such as Shannon Elizabeth and US golfer Rocco Mediate, the 2008 US Open championship runner up.
