The schedule for the second annual World Series of Poker Europe has been announced. The tournament will feature four bracelet events, including one new addition, the £1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event, which will be the opening event of the tournament this year.
The World Series of Poker Europe will be covered by ESPN, who will be airing eight hours of original coverage in the United States, and will also distribute the tournament globally.
September 19th: Event 1 - £1,500 No Limit Hold'em Day 1A (2 opening days for a 3 day event)
September 24th: Event 3 £5,000 Pot Limit Omanach (3 day event)
September 27th: Event 4 £10,000 World Championship No Limit Hold'em (2 opening days, 5 day event)
The tournament will run from the 19th September to the 2nd October, and will be hosted by London Clubs.
World Series of Poker Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack said “If this year's World Series of Poker event in Las Vegas is any indication, the level of tournament play is increasing worldwide and we expect the second annual WSOPE to be hotly contested.”
The tournament will be covered on ESPN360.com, with live coverage available in the US, Europe, Mexico, and Brazil.
