From Indian TV To The Pussycat Dolls – Worldwide Poker Hits

Poker is enjoying international success in the media – the World Poker Tour is attracting attention across the globe, and has recently announced that the WPT television series will air on the Indian private sports channel, Zee Sports, this September. 

Zee Sports is the flagship channel on the Zee network, and broadcasts a variety of sports including football, cricket, tennis, and motor sports. The World Poker Tour television series is scheduled to begin airing on Zee Sports in India this September

Steve Lipscomb, the WPT founder and CEO said "Zee Sports and WPT Enterprises together create a powerful partnership as the most trusted vehicles to introduce poker to India. We are delighted to be making history together".

Back in the USA, the American pop sensations the Pussycat Dolls will be attending the Poker Villa on Poker Island to perform a show, and challenge residents of the Poker Villa to a game of poker. The Poker Island, in Ibiza, will be the venue for several daily poker games in a $100,000 tournament, and players on the island can enjoy the five star treatment in a luxury villa where their every need is catered for.
