A Texan gambler became an instant millionaire during a recent visit to a casino.
A woman from Texas is celebrating after a trip to a casino ended with her winning a $2.1 million (£1.1 million) slots jackpot.Melissa Gail Ray was gambling at the Eldorado Resort Casino Shreveport when she struck lucky, reports the Tyler Morning Telegraph.
The 43-year-old chose to play a Wheel of Fortune progressive game because it was the only machine available when she arrived at the casino's slots room.

Several hours and $177 of stake money later, Ms Ray collected a MegaJackpot that made her a millionaire.
"I couldn't believe my own good luck," said the winner, who added that the money would not change her life and that she plans to carry on working.
A number of gamblers in the US have become instant millionaires in the past few years thanks to success on Wheel of Fortune statewide progressive games.
Another major winner is in the offing in Mississippi, where the MegaJackpot on the $1 machines has now climbed over the $13 million mark.
