A Manchester casino is attracting new members as a result of its growing reputation as a celebrity hangout.
A luxury casino in Manchester has seen its membership rise after developing a reputation for being one of the city's top celebrity hangouts.Manchester235 was the venue for Coronation Street actress Kim Ryder's high-profile birthday celebrations earlier this summer and was also where a number of Manchester United players chose to celebrate their Premier League title triumph.
In addition to the gaming floor, the casino is also home to bars, restaurants and a live music venue.

More than 80,000 people have become members since Manchester235 opened its doors in October 2006, something that its marketing manager Siobhan McGoff attributes to the fact there is no other venue like it in the city.
However, Ms McGoff admitted that the popularity of the members-only lounge with celebrities had helped to broaden the casino's appeal.
"Our VIP and celebrity guests have received a lot of press and this always attracts people hoping to spot a glimpse of a footballer or actress," she explained.
Recent press reports suggest London is to get a new celebrity haunt, as Playboy is apparently planning to open a casino in the capital.
