Companies from America, Canada and the UK join gambling trade association.
A gambling trade group that aims to "further the interests of gaming equipment manufacturers" has added two new organisations to its list of firms.Octavian International from the UK, Diamond Game Enterprises from the US and Nanoptix from Canada are now part of the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM).
Following the decision by the group's board of directors to permit the new members, AGEM has become a 53-company-strong unit.
In a statement this week, the trade organisation said it represents "manufacturers of gaming devices, systems and components for the gaming industry".
AGEM also claimed to have a global remit, and listed gambling firms Bally Technologies, Action Gaming, Casino Technology and Shuffle Master as some of its existing members.
