Las Vegas Sands is reported to be keen to add Jay-Z's 40/40 Clubs to its portfolio.
Hip-hop superstar Jay-Z is reportedly in talks with casino operator Las Vegas Sands about a multi-million dollar deal for his 40/40 Club chain.The musician has three sports-themed bars, in New York, Atlantic City and Las Vegas. The site of the Nevada club is inside the Venetian complex, which is owned by Las Vegas Sands.
Officials from the casino operator have apparently been so impressed with the 40/40 Club that they want to buy it.
According to the New York Post, Las Vegas Sands has offered Jay-Z $44 million (£23.5 million) for a 50 per cent stake in the company and already has plans to expand the brand to include clubs in London and other European cities.
Meanwhile, a couple at the other end of the celebrity scale from the rapper have been making the news for their antics in Las Vegas.
Big Brother losers Luke Marsden and Bex Shiner are apparently honeymooning in the Nevada gaming capital and the Daily Star has reported they have had some success at the tables, including a $500 roulette win at Planet Hollywood.
