Lady Proves Those Who Play Bingo Can Win Big

Stourbridge lady plays bingo and wins a prize of more than £17,000, which will help pay for her wedding next year.

A result from a numbers game hall in Oldbury in the West Midlands has shown that people can play bingo and win huge prizes.

Jayne Rose, a 30-year-old bride to be from Stourbridge, won over £17,000 playing the popular game last week, according to the National Bingo website.

The five-figure sum will now be put towards the cost of her wedding to Lee Whitehouse, which is scheduled to take place next year.

Ms Rose also indicated that some of the windfall will be spent on a holiday abroad, which highlights what playing bingo can lead to for consumers.

Talking after her victory, the lucky lady told the website: "I couldn't believe it and I couldn't sign the papers after I had won because I was so shocked."

Her win follows a Medway bingo player's success earlier this month. An unnamed numbers game enthusiast picked up £34,000 after a bingo session at the Gala club in Chatham.
