Poker In The Park In London

Later this month, poker players and fans will descend on London for a card game extravaganza.

Various poker tournaments will be played in London's Leicester Square later this month as the Poker in the Park festival heads to the English capital.

The game is scheduled to be played for five hours on Friday August 15th and eight hours the following day.

Some of the events taking place include the LondonPubPoker.co.uk Trophy and the Student Poker League Cup on the opening day and the Nuts Poker League Challenge around 24 hours later.

The England Poker League Cup will be one of the final events as the two-day showpiece draws to an end on Saturday evening.

Organisers have billed the occasion as Europe's biggest poker festival, and there are a number of famous faces scheduled to appear at the event.

Irish Poker Open winner Neil Channing will be one of the recognisable figures attending the weekend, offering card enthusiasts the opportunity to learn some trade secrets.
