Hundreds of experts expected at Florida gaming event, which will involve slots discussion and more.
The subject of new slots venues in Miami-Dade County, Florida will make up part of fourth annual Florida Gaming Summit when it runs over two days next month.Delegates at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino between October 6th and 7th will debate the issues surrounding the introduction of these slots in relation to the success of other similar gambling venues in the area.
In the coming months, Florida could see three pari-mutuel facilities opening, so experts will take the opportunity to discuss potential successes and pitfalls.
Michael Pollock, managing director of Spectrum Gaming Group, co-producer of the conference with BNP Media, commented: "The performance of slot machines in Broward County has been the subject of much discussion and conjecture."
This year's summit panel will try to answer questions about how they have been established, he added.
According to the summit's official website, around 300 experts from the gambling industry are expected to be present at the Florida event.
