It is not always the biggest gambling or gaming company that wins the e-Gaming Review (EGR) Magazine awards.
Judges in the EGR Magazine awards reward the gambling and gaming firms that have shown innovation and initiative, it has been claimed.According to the publication's editor Jake Pollard, the companies that are recognised in the competition are generally those which have made the "best use of resources".
The biggest and most renowned companies do not always win, he explained.
Mr Pollard's comments come in the build-up to the fourth edition of the EGR Magazine awards on September 19th.
Explaining the meaning of the prize ceremony, he added: "It was basically organised to reward the top operators in the industry, there's about 18 categories. It ranges from online marketing campaigner of the year to social and responsible operator of the year."
EGR Magazine provides business-to-business information for the online gaming market and is mainly aimed at decision makers within the sector and analysts operating within the industry.
