Slots and poker at new Midwest casino revered.

A new casino near Chicago has more than 3,200 slots scattered across its gaming floors.

The Horseshoe Casino, which cost $500 million (£250 million) to develop, also offers customers some of the latest slots technology.

This information on games at the venue was made clear in a statement from the property yesterday.

Revealing the gaming odds and limits of the new gambling facility, the public announcement also advertised the poker provisions on offer at the Horseshoe.

Rick Mazer, Indiana regional president and general manager at Harrah's Entertainment, the company which owns the new venue, said: "Not only are we now home to the largest poker room in the Midwest, our games and odds are among the best in the country."

Meanwhile, WWJ Newsradio in Detroit has reported comments from MotorCity Casino's chief operating officer Rhonda Cohen. She said that advertisements for the Michigan gambling venue are being seen as far as Chicago in order to attract as many guests as possible.
