Casino in Aberdeen to be partly constructed by Stockport company Multibuild.
A construction firm in the north-west of England is set to play a part in the development of a new casino in Aberdeen, Scotland.Multibuild, which is based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, has won a £2 million contract to fit out part of the new gambling venue, reports Crain's Manchester Business.
The ground floor, administration areas and basement staff rooms of the G-Casino will all be developed by the English firm. Rank Group is the company that owns the property.
This comes after Multibuild completed a full refurbishment of Nottingham's new Alea Casino earlier this year, in a contract that was worth over £5 million.
The project took place over a six-month period and was described as "fantastic" by the operations manager for the group's interior team Ged Nolan.
Speaking at the time the development was completed, Mr Nolan added: "The luxury features and fittings used throughout the fit-out have pushed the boundaries in terms of quality and are a perfect example of the finish Multibuild strives to achieve."
