Ed Moses to join other famous faces for Florida poker tournament next year.

The Par and Poker Celebrity Challenge for Charity has added Olympic 400 metres hurdle gold medallist Ed Moses to its list of stars set to take part in the annual competition.

Moses finished first in his event during the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and will be hoping to prove himself at the poker felt and the golf course on Thursday January 29th 2009.

Money raised by the celebrity event will go towards the Joyner-Walker Foundation, and it will be the second year in succession that the golf and poker tournament has been held.

Other stars who have confirmed their places in the competition include baseball legends Ozzie Smith and Chili Davis.

There are also a number of NFL professionals scheduled to appear in the glamorous sporting showdown.

Moses' confirmed participation in the Tampa event comes after record-breaking Olympian Michael Phelps revealed his three main loves in life were swimming, eating and playing poker.
